Liza has continued to surprise us, for now she is not only dark chestnut, but she also sports a darker mane and tail, so that to the casual observer, she appears at first to be bay. See the photograph below and to the right when she was 3 and 2 years of age for her 'bay' stage of color. Note that she has chestnut color on her legs, and not black as a bay would have.

Here she is at 2.5 years as a chocolate chestnut 2002
'Liza' was bred to be a performance horse, and her pedigree reinforces this heritage again and again, with both mares and stallions that have proven themselves to be superb athletes, and just as important, possessing the genetic strength to pass along to future generations their structural correctness producing good gaits and stamina, along with good disposition and intelligence to perform whether under saddle or in harness.

Shown at right is the full brother to Liza:
LSF Fast Forward
purchased by Wendy Ayers of Morgandy Acres in late 2001, Larkyn was put
into training with Ben Qua and at his first show received tricolors in
pleasure driving. At his second show, 2002 NY Morgan, LSF Fast Forward was named Res. Gr. Ch. Stallion, and received tricolors again in pleasure driving as well as pleasure saddle.
He is also to be one of the new herd sires for Wendy and his first foals
are expected in 2004. Along with his exceptionally balanced trot ---inherited
from his dam and sire--- is his unparalled kind and willing disposition,
which he shares with Liza. Realizing that this was indeed a very good cross,
we repeated it the next year and Liza was the result!
FOR SALE! ASKING $4500 OR BEST OFFER
Liza was gently trained to drive as a three year old but has been idle since last fall. She has tremendous athleticism, intelligence, willingness, has excellent feet and legs, a smooth body and great topline, and an incredible pedigree. Liza is snorty and has excellent hocks and could possibly be a candidate for pleasure driving--she knows right where to set her neck.. Too, she has all the makings of an excellent carriage driving prospect with a little more training .She has a soft mouth, backs readily, and can be hitched by one person. She has also been backed and accepted a rider willingly. We are offering Liza at $4500 but will consider all offers to a good home where she will be loved and given a job----she loves to work! This mare will go all day long for you.
Forevermore
All photographs below show Liza in training after almost 3 weeks. She is hitched to a large meadowbrook type cart, and the driver is very tall, so she is pulling quite a bit of weight for all of her 14.1 hands! I hope to have new photos up soon!
