STALLION
MARES
'Newt' is a cheerful, outgoing, 3 year old, 14.2 gelding, although he may finish out over 14.3, as this is a line that is slow to physically mature. He is now all grown up and ready for his own person to come and take him to his new home, wherever that may be!
He had several months of training up to ground driving at Scottfield Stables,
Montrose, PA, with Alicia Fraser, then 30 days under saddle with Ande Maas
(seen directly below. and right, riding 'Newt' in the indoor arena photo),
a competitive endurance rider. There Newt was schooled around cones, learned
to bend, do figure eights, learned to give to pressure, etc. etc.
While 'Newt' is only green broke, he is a fast learner, in fact he loves
to learn and bonds very quickly with his trainer (we had to about pry him
away from Ande!)
Newt has matured into a fine young gelding with a good mind and a sensitive
character, and needs a person with a like mindset to further his training.
Like most Morgans he learns easily and enjoys the work and spending time
with his person. If you are looking for a special gelding to share some
time with on the trails and think this handsome fellow is irresistable,
we couldn't agree more! Give us a call! We'd love to introduce you to him!.

Here Newt is going very nicely under saddle with Ande Maas, who fell in love with him.
MAINE EVENT BENN ECHO,
shown at left at 16 years of age; 'Chloe' passed away this spring at 21 years. We miss her so...Newt, & Faith were her only foals. We felt honored to have Chloe in our lives for almost 6 years, and she left us too soon. She is buried here at our farm on the highest hill facing the sunset and the Candor valley.

LSF Benn Fortunate taken 10 October 2007; he has almost a double mane and ample tail which look like they have been permed.
Chloe, with LSF Benn Faithful, whom we lost to pneumonia, and was never registered.
Newt has a naturally clean throat that has never been sweated.
While Newt is considered 'green broke' as of this past June, he has been out in pasture with his pal playing all summer, and is still growing and muscling up. He has not been ridden since then but is ready to begin his lesson plans with his new owner...
