BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY

The above photographs show Bohemian Rhapsody as a three year old, just after we had purchased her. Rhapsody was under the direction of the legendary trainer Fred Herrick to become a park horse, but due to our other commitments, she never was able to fulfill her destiny in the show ring. She has, however, contributed greatly to the Morgan breed with her quality offspring, now from 3 different sires. Rhapsody is gifted with the heritage of many fine park horses in her pedigree. She trots level in front and has hocks to spare, all without artificial devices of any kind, other than the words 'trot'! She has a work ethic like no other horse, and will always give you 110%, willingly and happily. She is kind, intelligent, and has wonderful legs and feet! She also passes these traits on to her offspring, making her an invaluable broodmare. Though only 14.1 hands, she has a lot to offer in a small package, and her foals always mature larger than herself.

Rhapsody is a sabino chestnut, as seen by her hind stockings that have a jagged upward pattern at the hock, her wide white blaze, and white on her lower lip. She also has light 'roaning' on her flanks and sides. Bred to another 'high white' sabino Morgan, she could produce a 'minimal' pinto. Although rare, there are a few of these around!

'Libby' and 'Liza' are 3/4 sisters, as Forevermore is the sire of 'Liza' and the grandsire of 'Libby'

Such a great initial cross we repeated it and got Larkyn's full sister, 'Liza'

They just don't come any prettier than this!
