In 2006 we will stand LSF Fortunate Son, sired by the late, great Forevermore by Beamington, and out of the beautiful Equinox Benn Adam daughter, She's Moonstruck. The Brunk/government cross is known as one of the 'golden crosses' in Morgans for producing Morgan type without coarseness, excellent gaits and a particularly strong trot, intelligence, and soundness.

LSF Fortunate Son is offered in 2006 by A.I. only; no live cover. Stallion collection is done at Cornell University Equine Park, Ithaca, NY, and the first collection is included in the breeding contract.A deposit is required for the equitainer; all credit cards are accepted. Mare care for visiting mares is available on a very limited basis at the Equine Park, so please call 607 255-7753 if you would like to book space for your best mare for the coming breeding season.

In addition to his stellar pedigree, Kobe has the most awesome trot with hocks to spare and incredible suspension---it must be seen to be believed. A lovely rocking horse canter too! Kobe has a terrific shoulder and hip, and a nice short back, great feet and legs, and is just what we expected from this Brunk/Gov't cross: attitude, athleticism, and correct Morgan construction, along with a kind and sensible disposition. Kobe should make a great outcross to the In Command line of mares.

'Ace' was named long before he suffered his near fatal accident, but he proved the truth in his name by surviving through several years of recovery and by becoming one of Forevermore's most beautiful sons standing at stud. Proof of his value as a sire can only be determined by progeny, and to date he has sired 4 quality individuals with Morgan type and disposition, spirit, athleticism, intelligence and beauty.

We firmly believe that Ace will be a sire that will prove to be a positive influence on the foals produced by breeders of the Morgan horse.

LSF 'Calvin'aka LSF Stop the Music (LSF Fortunate Son x Bohemian Rhapsody) is an striking 2004 dark chestnut colt that seems destined for the sport/show world, and we think he will make an outstanding partner for the Morgan enthusiast of any level. Congratulations to Pamela Moriarty and her daughter Olivia on taking Calvin home with them to New Hampshire. Look for Calvin at the shows and say 'hi'!

LSF Fortunate Son is a participating stallion in both the 2005 ,2006 and 2007 NYSMHS stallion auction, and someone will have a super foal by him if his first 7 foals are any indication of his abilities as a sire! LSF Benn Fortunate (LSF Fortunate Son x Maine Event Ben Echo) (raf) is the heir apparent to his sire, and shows every indication of maturing into the type of Morgan we hoped for when we made this cross, line bred to Equinox Benn Adam. 'Newt' is very correct even now as a weanling, and has that charismatic attitude that includes playfullness, intelligence, and a great mind. Dark chestnut like his dad, he will spend the next 2 years growing into himself before heading off to visit Alicia Fraser's Scottfield Stables prior to hitting the showring in 2007, if all goes well. We love Newt and hope the future holds great achievements for him!
